Residents of Bajil District in Hodeidah Governorate face a severe crisis in access to safe drinking water, leading to the spread of infectious diseases such as cholera and typhoid.

Project goal:

Through this project, Al-Tarahum Medical Foundation aims to provide safe drinking water to the residents of Bajil District, through the distribution of home water filters.

Components of the project:

Distribution of water filters: The Foundation distributed 2,000 home water filters to the most needy families in Bajil District.
Health awareness: The Foundation provided awareness courses on how to use water filters correctly, and the importance of drinking clean water to maintain health.


Results:

Improving population health: The project contributed significantly to improving the health of the population of Bajil District, by reducing the incidence of infectious diseases.
Raising awareness: The project contributed to raising the level of awareness among residents about the importance of drinking clean water and maintaining health.
Supporting the local community: The project contributed to supporting the local community in Bajil District, by providing basic needs to the population.
