The courses lasted for three consecutive days, and the participants received practical training on the mechanisms of treating malnutrition diseases and knowledge of the mechanisms of food distribution to the target groups. Aitha Al-Saadi, Director General of the Medical Compassion Foundation, said that the refresher courses for the volunteers come within the context of the activities of the Malnutrition Treatment Project, which has been implemented by Medical Compassion in the governorate since 2016. Al-Saadi thanked the competent authorities in the governorate represented by the governor and the director of the governorate's health office, Dr. Abdul-Rahman Jarallah, for facilitating these courses and enabling compassion to serve the community in the health field in the governorate. Al-Saadi also praised the efforts of the Supreme Council for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, the headquarters and the Hodeidah branch. For their part, the volunteers participating in the courses held expressed their thanks a lot for the efforts of compassion in serving the community and its role in contributing to getting rid of the effects of devastating malnutrition. Emphasizing their keenness to work diligently to treat the disease and reach all targeted cases of children and pregnant and lactating mothers. Compassion is implementing a project to treat malnutrition diseases in Al Hudaydah and Sana'a governorates, as the number of cases benefiting from the project has reached more than two hundred thousand cases.
