The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health praises the role of compassion in community service

Sana'a Medical Compassion concluded today Monday at Relax Club Hall in Sana'a, an emergency obstetric course for health midwives in the Buraa District Al Hudaydah Governorate as part of the Health, Nutrition and Environmental Sanitation Project implemented by Compassion in the Directorate with funding from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs OCHA which was held at May 22 Hospital in Sana'a.

Dr. Zainab Al-Badawi Director General of Reproductive Health at the Ministry of Health, said that the obstetric emergency cycle comes at a time when we are in dire need of such courses, especially in remote rural areas such as the Bura area, which has no means of transportation in many villages of the district.
Dr. Al-Badawi stressed that the trainees should make all efforts to reach the targeted mothers and work around the clock in order to ensure that health services reach those who are eligible.
Al-Badawi expressed her gratitude for the efforts of medical compassion in community service in the Bar'a District through this session and the rehabilitative health rounds that it undertakes, praising the provision of compassion, a health bag for midwives, which would contribute to the health of newborns.
For his part, Dr. Aiza Al-Saadi, Director General of Medical Mercy, emphasized the need for health midwives to contribute to the lives of many children in the district and for the course to benefit the beneficiaries.
The health midwives praised the role of medical compassion in the success of the training course, extending their thanks and gratitude to the institution for improving health services in the district.
The course lasted ten consecutive days, in which the trainees received training material and practical application in the maternity department of May 22nd Hospital in Hamadan Governorate, Sana'a.
